Inner City Enduro or ICE is what is capturing the imagination of the Extreme Enduro Riders and Fans alike all over the world. Using the natural and man-made obstacles of the Inner city and letting loose a bunch of professional extreme enduro riders is what ICE is all about. The 1st round of ICE was staged in the coastal city of Port Elizabeth South Africa starting in the old Fort Frederick… It was a perfect place to commence the battle.
The concept of Last Man standing where each lap of the 1.3km circuit saw the last rider into the fort being thrown out was well received by over 35 000 spectators.
South Africa’s Red Bull athlete Wade Young on a KTM 300 took the win and was closely contested by Brian Capper on a Yamaha and Dwayne Kleynhans
