The Team Determined to restore Yamaha’s status as a dominant player in the pinnacle of enduro competition,Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro2 Team are Yamaha’s official representative in the Enduro2 class of the 2016 FIM Enduro World Championship. Seven years after celebrating the coveted Enduro 2 World Championship title with Frenchman Johnny AUBERT, Yamaha returns to the highly competitive class with the all-new WR450F. The goal of both Yamaha and the French based Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro2 Team is to continue on the same race and title winning path. The Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro2 Team will be managed by one of Yamaha’s most dedicated riders in the Enduro World Championship – Marc BOURGEOIS. Welcoming his appointment as Team Manager of Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro2 Team the Frenchman is determined to take full advantage of his vast experience in world class enduro competition. At only 31 years of age BOURGEOIS has been racing the World Championship non-stop for a decade. Starting off in 2005 the Frenchman has enjoyed a solid career collecting a total of 15 podium finishes in the World Championship. For 2016 BOURGEOIS will continue to race the French Championship and selected events in his home country but will stop his World Championship career as a rider to take charge of Outsiders Yamaha Official Enduro2 Team. Relying on the vast experience of Technical Coordinator Yann LOZANO – a GP mechanic who’s worked with some of the greatest names in the recent history of motocross – the team has developed their WR450F ready to hunt for Enduro2 glory. Set to become Enduro2 podium regulars the team has acquired the highly experienced services of Spaniard Cristobal GUERRERO, along with one of the class’ most promising riders – Frenchman Loïc LARRIEU.
