Mario Roman claims victory in the first international race of the season the AlesTrem hard enduro. The Spanish rider took victory in the prologue and the main race. Graham Jarvis and Wade Young accompanied him on the podium.
His top rivals were Graham Javis and his factory teammate Wade Young and Travis Teasdale. The first lap they were all very much in a group, Graham Jarvis made a pit stop on the second lap with a broken clutch pipe and set him back 15 mins, the two Sherco riders took advantage of this distancing themselves from the rest of the pack, Mario Roman stopped the clock in 6h 26 min, two minutes faster than Jarvis. Wade Young took 3rd on the podium, Travis Teasdale was 4th.
