Registrations for Hixpania Hard Enduro will be opened today. 300 riders will be able to enjoy the international hard enduro race in Spain. In addition, to facilitate the participation of amateur riders, this second edition will feature five different classes including one class for Vespa and one for trail bikes. You do not need to be a pro to live a hard enduro!
Hixpania Hard Enduro registrations will be open today for 300 brave men wishing to live ‘The Conquest of Hard Enduro’. The race, which will take place in Aguilar de Campoo (Palencia) from 3rd to 5th November, has become its first edition in one of the international events with best cachet. Hixpania 2017 will have five classes differentiated by the track and not like the previous year in which each rider could choose his finish line. These classes are: Knights (high level), Archers (medium-high level), Squires (medium-low level), Jugglers (reserved for Scooter Vespa) and Spanish Armada (reserved for trail or dual sport bikes). Hixpania will begin on Friday at 10am with a free practice lap to Saturday’s track around the Aguilar reservoir. This training is not mandatory but recommended so the riders can have a first contact with the race and can enjoy longer on their bikes.
However, the race will start for all riders on Friday at 17h with SuperEncierro (SuperEnduro format) on the streets of Aguilar de Campoo. Then, on Saturday will take place Campoo X-TREME with three mandatory laps for all classes and with a track according to the level of the riders (Juglares and Spanish Armada will give one and two laps, respectively). All the riders that finish in their class will have in their power the prized medal of finisher of Hixpania. Finally, on Sunday will be the start of the only race in the world that begins inside a cave, El Camino Perdido. This year, the 50 best riders of Campoo X-TREME of Knight Class, the top five of Archers and the five best of Squires will participate. How to be part of ‘The Conquest of Hard Enduro’?
The registrations will be available on the official website of the event: www.hixpania.es. The price of the registration is 200 € but during the month of June you can register for only 150 €. As the date of the event approaches, the discount will decrease (July – € 160, August – € 170, September – € 180, October – € 190). Foreign riders must have the Start Permission of home federation. The best medieval atmosphere and bikes Hixpania Hard Enduro is the only event that brings together the medieval history of Spain, Castilla, with enduro motorcycles. The name of the evidence, the site and the activities have a clear medieval character in which the whole family can enjoy.
In the first edition of Hixpania, about 200 riders took the start and more than 7,000 fans were part of the event. The winner was KTM Factory Red Bull rider Alfredo Gomez, followed by Graham Jarvis and Mario Román. Participants arrived from Nicaragua, Germany, Italy, France, Portugal, Denmark or the United Kingdom.
