The Auto Smart Low North Camp XC Enduro was held at the famous Low North Camp venue, well known as one of the best off road venues in the North of England situated just outside Scarborough, North Yorkshire. The event, the third to be organised by AG Enduro Sport attracted some world class riders like Graham Jarvis, Jonny Walker and Billy Bolt to the Yorkshire Dales.
Graham Jarvis 1st Place Pro Class
A 1pm start for the main race saw Jonny Walker (Factory KTM) take the hole shot followed by Billy Bolt (Eurotek KTM) and Graham Jarvis (Factory Husqvarna) in 3rd place. With Jarvis in hot pursuit Billy Bolt made a mistake and slipped into a ditch allowing Graham Jarvis to move up to 2nd place. Jonny Walker’s first race back after suffering a broken leg over ten weeks ago was shaping up to be a return to victory, however Graham Jarvis fresh from his Erzberg win had other ideas. The two battled for several laps with the lead going back and forth making interesting viewing for the fans, but it was Graham that pushed on to take the win. By the time the flag fell on the 19th lap Graham Jarvis had pulled out a 3 min lead over 2nd place Jonny Walker, followed 5 minutes later by 3rd place Billy Bolt who was impressing the crowds with his flamboyant style.

The Expert class saw an impressive ride from Damo Butler (Husqvarna) who lead the class for most of the race entertaining the crowd as he passed by shouting and laughing to anyone he recognised. Damo looked like he was enjoying every minute of the race and it was good to see him back out on a bike and pulling a 3 minute lead on second placed expert Ben Thompson who was also followed home by James Jackson (Eurotek KTM) 3 minutes later. The top three in the expert class all completed a credible 16 laps.

Anthony Tempest took the over 40 class win with John Bradford 2nd and Alex Owen 3rd. All three completed 15 laps. Clubman E1 class was won by Thomas Widd on 14 laps followed by runner up in 2nd spot Ross Rooksby and rounding out the top three was Dawson Marriot also on 14 laps. Clubman E2 Darren Cousins 1st on15 laps, Ricky Tropman 2nd on12 laps and Aaron Walker 3rd on11 laps. Clubman E3 George England 1st on14 laps, Joe Allison 2nd on 9 laps and Craig Thompson 3rd on 8 laps.
