The new season of the European Enduro Championship started this weekend at Fabriano (Italy), around 200 kms North-East of Rome. Day1 – The first winner in this competition was Italian Alessandro Battig (photo2). The European champion Matteo Pavoni was fighting against his countrymen Maurizio Micheluz and Alessandro Battig. Not so strong at the beginning, Pavoni increased in the last five special tests, but Micheluz and Battig were already too far ahead. This year Battig is riding a 450cc Kawasaki instead of the smaller 250cc as in the last seasons, which helped him to win the overall.
