Despite a rainy day, the time had finally decided to give some respite to the EnduroGP at this Super Test very well organized where nearly 3000 Portuguese gathered this Friday night. If that generous public expected a show completely crazy … It was served! The Club Natureza Eventos had concocted a Super Testcombines speed and technique where 148 were committed it to their heart!
From the beginning of the category EnduroGP , the show was assured. Indeed, the favorite of the public Luis OLIVEIRA (P – Yamaha) faced the Sextuple SuperEnduro World Champion Taddy BLAZUSIAK (PL – KTM) … And after a crazy duel, both passed the line at the same time (1 ’31”87)! The tone was set. The level has never dropped a notch and if Lorenzo SANTOLINO (E – Sherco) has thought away with the Super Test in the bag (1’30”46), it was not counting on Alex SALVINI (I – Honda) who, in one of the last battles of the evening, this time improved by 13 hundredths (1’30”33).
8th time to Cristobal GUERRERO (ESP – Yamaha)
Then came the last duel: Matthew Phillips (AUS – Sherco) against Mathias BELLINO (F – Husqvarna) . And again, that devil redhead proves he is a true specialist in this kind of special atomizing the time of SALVINI . 1’27”46 PHILLIPS his side, not pocketing the 12th time. The French therefore start with 12 seconds ahead of his nearest rival tomorrow morning …
Junior is again Giacomo REDONDI (I – Honda) makes his law 1’31”69 ahead of teammate Davide SORECA (I – Honda) and the Catalan Josep GARCIA (E – Husqvarna) while in 125cc, Jean-Baptiste NICOLOT (F – Yamaha) set the best time while Valerian DEBAUD (F – Yamaha) and Lee SEALEY (GB – Yamaha) were rather leg on the special Portuguese.
After a Super Test as successful, everyone is now turned towards tomorrow and the first race day of the Grand Prix Polisport of Portugal . The rain should certainly be inviting and that should give us a beautiful day Enduro you like them!
SALVINI finished second behind BELLINO
