Holcombe, Edmondson and Mccanney found a 100 meter stretch off the traditional line that allowed them to carry more speed into the right hander at the end of the straight which saved time. For lesser riders this stretch was strength sapping with many being happy just to hang on. Edmondson chose some interesting lines through the remainder of the test opting to go around trees forcing a wider line but allowing the little KTM more drive to the next turn.
