The most important hard enduro in America returns this weekend in its fourth edition. About 200 riders from different countries will take the start to conquer the jungle and the Caribbean beaches. Before starting the fight, the best international riders have taken part of the preview of Machete Hard Enduro in the historical San Felipe of Puerto Plata fort. Do not miss the images and the words that will return you to the origin of the island!
• Machete Hard Enduro aims to link sports to the tourism of the island
• Jonny Walker, Manuel Lettenbichler, Mario Román, Wade Young and Graham Jarvis will be in charge of fighting for winning
• About 200 riders from all over the world will compete in the Dominican jungle
Machete Hard Enduro 2019 has presented its cast of runners who will compete in the professional class. With the idea of linking, once again, the most important hard enduro event in the Americas, with the origin of one of the most tourist regions in the world, the ‘riders’ have made a nice photoshooting next to the San Felipe fort of Puerto Plata ( XVI century).
As a result, Jonny Walker (KTM) or Mario Román (Sherco) have pointed out that this is one of the must enjoyable events of the season because there is a mix between holidays and competition. In addition, as a novelty this year, several of the riders, such as the legend Graham Jarvis (Husqvarna) have commented that this year the track will have more quality due to the work of track manager of another great rider, already retired, Andreas Lettenbichler, one of the signings stars on the part of the organization.
In the surroundings of the tourist center of the city of Puerto Plata, the riders have posed with their bikes and thus capture one of the most important ideas of the event: to mix the Dominican tourist opportunities and the values of a sport like the hard enduro.
For this reason, the San Felipe fort of Puerto Plata, its bay and its beach have been the locations chosen to present the best riders in the world who will fight against the intense heat and humidity, another of the essences that make Machete Hard Enduro, one of the most intense races of the panorama.
Moreover, on April 27th The Beach Prolog will start with different motos for all participants. And on April 28th, almost 200 riders of all levels and from different
countries, will fight face to face with a spectacular start from the beach to end in the jungle. The Original Caribbean Race begins!
